Privacy Policy Notes
Privacy Policy
Notes: Notepad, Draw & PDF (package com.easy.sticky.notes.notepad)
Effective date: 17 October 2026
This policy explains what information the Notes app ("the app") handles, why, and the choices you have. The app is published by ("we", "us").
1. Summary
- The app has no account, no sign-in and no cloud storage of its own.
- Your notes, drawings, photos, scans, PDFs, voice recordings and transcripts are stored only on your device. The app does not upload them.
- The app shows ads from Google AdMob and Meta Audience Network, and uses Google Firebase, Microsoft Clarity and iZooto to measure use, find crashes and send notifications. These services collect device and usage information, never the content of your notes.
- The app contacts our own servers to load its advertising settings, count installs and deliver notifications. What is sent is listed in section 7.
2. Content you create
Everything you write, draw, record, photograph, scan or attach is saved in the app's private storage on your device. We cannot see it and it is not sent to us or to anyone else by the app.
Content leaves the app only when you choose to: when you share or export a note (for example "Share as PDF"), the file goes to the app or person you pick, under their privacy terms. Backups — the ones you make and the automatic daily backup if you turn it on — are saved as files in your device's Download folder. They stay on your device under your control; anyone with a copy of a backup file can read the notes in it.
Locked notes are protected with a PIN that is stored on your device only as a salted hash in encrypted storage, or with the fingerprint or face unlock of your device. We never receive your PIN or biometric data.
3. Permissions
| Permission | Why the app asks for it |
|---|---|
| Camera | To take photos and scan documents into a note. Used only while you are on the camera or scanner screen. |
| Microphone | To add voice recordings to a note, and to turn speech into text when you start it. Recording runs only after you tap record and shows a notification until you stop it. |
| Notifications | To show the reminders you set, the control for an ongoing recording or transcription, and app news (you can turn notifications off in the Android settings). |
| Alarms & reminders | To show a reminder at the exact minute you chose. |
| Display over other apps | Only if you turn on the floating memo, to keep it above other apps until you close it. |
| Run at startup | To put your reminders back after the phone restarts or the app is updated. |
| Fingerprint / biometrics | To unlock locked notes with your fingerprint or face. The check is done by Android. |
| Internet / network state | For the advertising, analytics, crash reporting and notification services in sections 5–7. Your notes are never sent. |
Camera, microphone, notification, alarm and overlay permissions are optional. The rest of the app works without them.
4. Text recognition and speech to text
Text recognition in the scanner and handwriting-to-text run on your device using Google ML Kit. The image is not uploaded for this. ML Kit may send Google limited technical and usage metrics (for example performance and error data) as described in the ML Kit terms.
Turning recordings or speech into text uses the speech recognition service on your device (usually Google's). When the device offers on-device recognition, the audio stays on the device; otherwise that service may process the audio under its own privacy policy.
5. Advertising
The app shows ads provided by Google AdMob. Through AdMob mediation, some ads come from Meta Audience Network (Meta Platforms). To deliver, limit and measure ads, these ad networks may collect and process:
- the advertising ID of your device and other device identifiers,
- IP address (which indicates approximate location),
- device and app information (model, screen size, operating system, language, app and ad SDK versions),
- ad interactions and diagnostic data (for example which ads were shown, viewed or tapped).
This data is collected by the ad networks, not by us, and is handled under their own policies: Google's Privacy Policy (see also how Google uses information from apps that use its services) and the Meta Privacy Policy (see also how Meta ads work).
Your choices. Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), the app asks for your consent before showing personalized ads, and AdMob passes your choice on to the ad networks it works with; you can change your answer at any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices. On any device you can reset or delete your advertising ID in the Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
6. Analytics, crash reports and notifications
| Service | What it is used for | What it collects |
|---|---|---|
| Google Firebase Analytics | Counting how features are used, to improve the app | App interactions, app instance ID, device and app information, approximate location from IP |
| Google Firebase Crashlytics | Finding and fixing crashes | Crash logs, device and app information, an installation ID |
| Google Firebase Cloud Messaging | Delivering notifications | A notification token for your device |
| iZooto | Sending app news and offers as notifications | Notification token, device and app information, IP address, notification opens |
| Microsoft Clarity | Understanding how screens are used (taps, scrolls, screen views) so we can make them easier | App interactions and anonymized session replays, device and app information, an installation ID. Text and note content on screen are masked, so your notes are not recorded. |
Privacy policies: Firebase, iZooto, Microsoft. You can stop notifications at any time in the Android settings for the app.
7. Requests the app makes to our servers
- Advertising settings. The app asks
dedhanadhangames.inwhich ad units to use. The request contains only the app's package name. - Install count. Once after installation the app notifies
infiustechnologies.comso we can count installs. The request contains only the app's package name. - Notifications. To send you notifications the app registers its notification token with
dedhanadhangames.in. When you open one of these notifications, the app reports that it was opened, together with a random ID created by the app (not linked to you or your device's identifiers).
Like any internet request, these reach the server together with your IP address. We do not use it to identify you and we do not combine it with other data.
8. What we do not do
- We do not collect your name, e-mail address, phone number, contacts or precise location.
- We do not read, upload or analyze your notes, photos, recordings or files.
- We do not sell personal data.
9. Keeping and deleting data
Your notes stay on your device until you delete them. Deleted notes are kept in the app's Trash for 30 days and then removed. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in the Android settings, removes all app data from the device (backup files you saved in Download stay until you delete them). Because we hold no copy of your notes, there is nothing for us to delete on our side. Data collected by the services in sections 5 and 6 is kept according to their policies; to ask us to delete the notification registration linked to your device, write to the address below.
10. Security
Notes are kept in the app's private storage, which other apps cannot read. Information sent by the app and the services above travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Please keep your phone locked and your backup files safe.
11. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, India's DPDP Act, Brazil's LGPD or California's CCPA) you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information, to object to its use and to withdraw consent. Write to us to use these rights.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app changes. The effective date at the top shows the latest version.
